Let's get right to the point. This is our cover-all-bases checklist. For the most part, items are listed by importance, since we'll only want or be able to carry so much. If you think we missed anything, or have any of these to loan out (with the understanding that it may up in the hands of Russian border control), please let us know. Expenses

  2. Visa fees ~ $1500 x 2 ~ $3000
  3. Vaccinations (Typhoid, Diptheria, Polio, Hep A & B, Rabies, Encephalitis) ~ max $700 x 2
  4. Dover/Calais ferry fee = £55 ~ $107
  5. Fuel ~ $800
  6. Flights/trains there & back ~ ?

This means that we're looking at roughly $6500 of cost not including goods and travel expenses.
